  • For the past three years I have taken part in The Great Ski Debacle. A strange event where a group of friends spend silly amounts of money to travel hundreds of miles to a region of mountains, get dragged and carried to the top of these mountains where they strap bits of wood (actually the modern ski is composed primarily of glass fiber, Kevlar and titanium) to their feet and proceed to slide back down the mountain. This often results in pain and discomfort. Yet year after year they keep going back to practice this cold, expensive, painful, and most pointless sport.

To help explain this strange phenomenon, Peter created a website www.skidebarcle.co.uk, you can find some useful insights in to the history of the debacle, links to help you organise your own ski trip and most importantly... the photos.
